The Taming of the Shrew events in Redwood City - 

1) Wednesday May 21 7pm
 - Redwood City Downtown Library - 

"An Unusual Romance: Love, Lust and Negotiation in The Taming of the Shrew"  presented by Rebecca J. Ennals, Artistic Director of San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.

Admission is free and all are invited. 

"Join us at the Redwood City Library for a lively and interactive discussion with Rebecca J Ennals, director of this summer's production of The Taming of the Shrew. Actors will perform roles from the play to accompany her informative commentary on the characters and themes found in this production. Who is the bigger Shrew? You may have a different perspective after attending this witty presentation!" 

2) Free Shakespeare in the Park 
Performances of The Taming of the Shrew will be held on the grounds of Sequoia High School, 1201 Brewster Ave at Broadway, between August 9-24, on Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 4:00 pm. Visit: http://www.sfshakes.org/park
