What is Splash?

Splash is a two-day weekend marathon of classes in a variety of subjects that are open to all students in grades 7-12. The classes students take are completely up to them, as the goal of Splash is to get them excited about learning and help them explore new topics.

Classes are taught by college students and local community members. The teachers create their own classes, which means every class will be led by someone excited about the topic. The classes are generally one to four hours long and may be lecture-style, hands-on, or discussion-based. The subject matter for classes ranges from casual hobbies to intensive academic subjects.

During the weekend of Splash, they have the Stanford Splash Parents’ Program available to the parents of Splash students. The Parents’ Program is a series of talks and sessions relating to Splash, your child’s education, and college admissions.

The next Splash is the weekend of April 12-13, 2014.

Student registration is now open
