Google Sites provides a word processor-like WYSIWYG editing environment.*

Uses for Google Sites:
  • Intranet sites / team collaboration – the initial use
  • Personal website
  • Personal private sites – i.e., browser homepage of links for family
  • Small business website(s)
  • Club and teacher websites
An account can have multiple Google Sites.

* You don't use computer applications to author your website and then upload (ftp) the files to your Internet host's server.
